the “WHY MARRIAGE?” project
”WHY MARRIAGE?” is a project that gives singles a glimpse behind the more than mundane: the everyday silly little moments, the growth, the dramatic highs and lows. Whether it’s the first date or the humbling realization that hit you years down the line. . . we want to hear about it.
One of the biggest issues keeping singles single today is that they can’t see behind the veil. Like a high school student trying to imagine what college is like (or the working world), the unmarried single has difficulty imagining the realities of married partnership.
What if your story could unlock the door for someone whose heart is yearning for marriage?
How to Participate
You can participate in any way that feels comfortable to you! Here are some ideas:
Write a little blurb and email it to us at GoodHeartsMeet@Gmail.com. Please include your name and contact information, so we can reach out about using your story!
Record yourself telling your story in audio or video form, and share a link with us at the email address above.
You can upload the file to your Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox, or similar file storage system for us to retrieve. Let us know if you’re having any technical issues; we’d be happy to help!
We also welcome art inspired by the theme “Why Marriage?” - collages, paintings, poetry, even skits!
The goal is to capture insights that are honest, organic, and real. <3
